How to make an origami horse?

Origami animals can be a good for decorating your home or for enhancing your art or science project. Horses are fascinating animals that are attractive and well as fun. This article will provide you with step by step instructions to make a perfect origami horse.

Steps

Steps to Make an Origami Horse
Firstly, take a square paper and fold it diagonally to obtain a triangle.
Now, fold this triangle in half and then fold its top towards the bottom to make a square out of it.
Repeat this same step again with the other triangle.
Now unfold the paper and place it in front of you until it appears like a diamond to you.
Fold the outer corners of this diagonal together in a way that make them meet in the middle, and then form a crease in the top corner. Repeat this process again with the bottom section of the paper but, this time, do it from the opposite side.
At the end of this step, you will obtain a diamond shape with a smaller head and a larger bottom.
You next step will include unfolding the bottom wings of this shape.

Obtain your final horse

Next steps
Next, unfold the paper again and fold its bottom corner to the extent where it reaches the top corner.
Make a diamond crease out of this shape and repeat the same step with the back layer of paper.
Now, take the right corner of the paper to fold it over and across.
Then, turn the paper around and repeat the same step with the back side of the paper.
Next, invert the left corner to make it upward facing.
Fold it halfway again to the middle.
Now, fold across the middle of the paper and repeat the process with the bottom part.
Cut the back legs in half along the thick line.
Next, fold the tips of the front legs upwards and make a small cut in the neck of the horse and fold it down.
Also, cut the tail of the horse and place it between the back legs, to obtain your final horse.
Final word
Try making other animals such as an origami elephant, and make a complete origami zoo for your next science project.
