How to rent apartments in Tenerife
Tenerife is an ideal holiday or vacation destination for both Europeans and North Americans. With its warm winter climate, many choose to avoid the cold winter of the northern hemisphere and enjoy a few months basking in the sunshine on the island of Tenerife.

Apartment holiday
If you prefer to rent an apartment over a hotel while in Tenerife, there are literally hundreds of options available on the internet. You could also use a travel agent to assist you in your choice although doing a search online will bring you into contact with more available properties to suit all the requirements necessary.
Preferred location
Before you get too deep into a search you should determine your budget, the size of apartment for rent you require and your preferred location.
One question you can ask yourself
Do you want beach accommodation or would you prefer somewhere a little out of the way and off the main tourist areas?
Browse websites
If you have friends who have taken an apartment holiday in Tenerife, then check on where they stayed and if theirs was a good choice. Alternatively go to websites of some of the reputable companies that specialize on the island. A booking through an independently owned apartment may be cheaper but you have no guarantees as to the validity of your booking. Using a reputable company gives you a greater sense of security.
Choose your preferred dates
Add the dates of when you would like to take your holiday to Tenerife. Enter the options required and a list of the available accommodations will be available. You may prefer the resorts of Los Cristianos or Playa de las Americas, as your search will bring up these options. Any other questions you may have should be addressed before you agree to pay a deposit.
Paying your deposit
Your deposit should be paid and this is usually able to be completed while connected to the internet. This will secure your booking subject to your making the final payment before an agreed date.
Tips and warnings
Book as early as possible to enable a greater choice of accommodation available for you to choose from. Your deposit is usually non-refundable, so ensure you take out travel insurance in case of an unexpected problem and you are unable to travel. Out of season, you may be able to find cheaper alternatives on arrival in a resort, although this method gives you less options and you may have to take what is available.
