About BRK and its associated companies

United Kingdom operations The headquarters of BRK Europe are in central England close to the city of Gloucester. Other brands As well as designing, manufacturing and distributing BRK products, they also produce First Alert, Family Gard, Tundra and One Link brands of mains smoke alarms and safety products. Products BRK produce carbon monoxide alarms, fire extinguishers, relays, fire escape ladders and motion sensors. These products have been perfected over a period of more than 50 years since the company first started production. Jarden BRK Electronics is part of the Jarden corporation, they themselves are market leaders in global diversified consumer products. They focus on exceeding the needs and expectations of their customers, shareholders and employees. Jarden’s European operation is controlled from their headquarters in Christchurch, Dorset in the UK.

Fire safety products

Hardwired BRK smoke alarm There are currently 14 models of mains wired smoke alarms to choose from. They are all easy to install, maintain and come with a ten-year warranty. They have features like silence buttons and extra bright exit lights as well as repeating alarm horns. Battery operated smoke alarms BRK smoke detector and alarms operated by battery power are also available in 14 designs with similar ease of installation features and guarantees as above. Plug-in alarms The range of AC or AC/DC carbon monoxide and explosive gas alarms are available in six designs with guarantees to be easy to install and be virtually maintenance free during their seven-year limited warranty. They come with digital read-out displays and line cords for easy positioning. Fire extinguishers These are manufactured by First Alert and BRK Tundra, all models are strong, accurate and give a fast and effective response when used in fighting fires. They are effective on many types of fires and Tundra fire extinguishers claim to operate up to four times longer than some traditional models of extinguishers.
