Butterfly Meadow Farm in Kent is well known for the produce they supply. However, with many competitors in the farm shop sector, what makes Butterfly Meadow stand out? This review will let you know.
About Butterfly Meadow
Origin Butterfly Meadow Farm Foods initially started in 2000. Before this, the husband and wife team, Steve and Sue grew vegetables in their back garden, solely for their family. After a particularly generous tomato crop, they decided to experiment with the commercial side of vegetable growing. By 2006, Butterfly Meadow had become the couple's full-time occupation, producing a wide range of fruits, vegetables and meat. Their daughter Leanne joined the company in 2009 to oversee meat production. Over the past ten years, Butterfly Meadow have won numerous awards and have appeared at Masterchef Live, the Taste of Kent exhibition and the Ideal Home exhibition.
Products One of the biggest positive points for Butterfly Meadow is their range of products. They have won awards for their fruit leather - which is naturally dried fruit puree - made with 100% natural fruit. There is no added sugar, flavourings or preservatives. They also produce a huge variety of sausages and fruit sauces. Butterfly Meadow also deliver goods throughout London and Kent. This is a wonderful service if you want natural fruit and vegetable delivered at a time to suit you. Finally and most importantly, the quality of the Butterfly Meadow produce is hard to beat. There is a reason why the company have won so many awards in the past ten years.
Negative sides Website Of course, there are some negative points. While it may seem unimportant, the Butterfly Meadow website does not have that professional look to it. Some of the text is covered by images, and there is a lot of unused space on each page. Also, they do not deliver further afield than London and Kent, although there are plans to begin deliveries to the rest of the country in the future. This means you will have to travel to the south of England if you want a sample of their produce. A finial word Finally, while you can order fruit sauces online, you can't order sausages of other produce. It seems strange that they do not have their entire range available to order online.
