Free translation websites are useful tools, especially for people who are trying to learn languages or who just need help in reading a newspaper article and do not want to invest a lot of time in the language. If you are reading an online newspaper article, Google can detect the language and translate the text. You can use a Google Chrome extension, or you can copy and paste the website address into the Google Translate box. There may be some inaccuracies in the final version, but a you can get the main ideas presented in the text.
