- With any meal, eat until you are no longer hungry and not until you are full
- Keep a food diary so that you can determine which one of your food intakes is not good for you
- Cut out snacking. If you feel you need a snack, try to find a healthy alternative like fruits or nuts
Exercise
How much exercise should you be doing?
If you're doing nothing now, anything will make a massive difference. You should preferably be looking at doing 20-30 minutes of exercise a day.
This should consist of cardiovascular work like swimming, running, cycling. It should be combined with circuits and resistance work. You really should keep the training interesting and varied to keep the body guessing and continue to burn fat as you get fitter.
