If you want to be private on Yahoo, you can go to My Yahoo and change your settings, so that they are kept hidden from everyone or from just your friends and contacts. This will not change all of the information found on Yahoo People Search. You can opt out of the Yahoo People Finder by going to Yahoo.intelius.com. and requesting that your information be removed by Intelius. It is a company which powers Yahoo's People Finder.
