Themed hotel

Adult-oriented hotel The Treasure Island complex is now also known as ‘TI’ after its renovation which began in 2003 to become an adult-based hotel and casino. It has abandoned its former theme of being a family-friendly resort after it was initially opened in 1993. Rooms The hotel has a total of 2,884 rooms, 220 of which are suites and it has received the AAA Four Diamond rating every year since 1999. This was abandoned in 2003 with kid-friendly areas being replaced by hot tubs, nightclubs and party bars to attract an adult audience.

Entertainment

The original pirate show was replaced with ‘Sirens Cove’, using many of the features of the previous show. The new show was designed to appeal more to adults with singing and dancing as well as visual effects.
