Preparing the chicken
Butterfly each chicken breast and place a slice of your favourite cheese into the chicken and top this with a slice of ham, season to taste. Roll the chicken breast into a cigar shape ensuring that the ham and cheese are sealed inside.
Coating the chicken Cover each chicken breast with flour, then dip into egg before covering each one completely in breadcrumbs, repeat if necessary until each piece is evenly covered. Cooking By using a frying pan over a medium heat, place a little oil in the bottom and begin cooking the chicken. Turn the chicken frequently to ensure that an even colour is achieved across the surface of the bread crumbed chicken.
