A guide to Lehigh Valley Airport

Lehigh Valley Airport, also known as Lehigh Valley International Airport, is located in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania in the United States and is just outside of Allentown, Pennsylvania, the third largest city in the state. The airport's main competition comes from Philadelphia International Airport (Pennsylvania) and Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey.

Eateries

LVIA has three places where hungry passengers can eat: These are: - Subway - La Cafe - Hudson News (Gift Shop and Newsstand). All three of these locations open at 5am and remain open until the last flight leaves in the evening.

Parking

LVIA gives flight passengers five parking options. Payment for services can be made by cash or credit card. Cell phone waiting area Motorists who are waiting to pick up passengers are allowed to park in specially-marked spaces that are near the airport doors. Passengers who have their luggage can call on the cell phone of their driver for pickup. Time in the Cell phone waiting area is limited to 30 minutes and the driver is not allowed to leave his vehicle. Short-term Located next to the terminal, short-term parking can be used by those who want to pick up friend and loved ones at the terminal. People who need to make a quick day trip can also utilise this service. Long-term parking Long-term parking is conveniently located next to the airport, making it easier for passengers to get to the terminal. Passengers who need to leave their vehicle for more than 24 hours can use this service. Economy parking Economy parking is situated a short way from the airport. Shuttle service is provided from 4:30am until the last flight has arrived. You must pay for this service in the airport or by credit card. Valet parking Passengers who do not wish to deal with the hassle of parking can use the LVIA Valet parking service. This service also requires that you pay at the terminal or use your credit card.

Luggage carts

Luggage carts are available, free of charge, for customer use. Kiosks for these carts are located throughout the airport.

Disability assistance

LVIA offers assistance to travelers with disabilities from the time they arrive at the airport to the time they leave. In an effort to make things easier for these passengers, the airport provides wheelchair-friendly tables for eating and wheelchair accessible toilets. In addition to this, the airport can, with prior notification, make accommodations for service animals and special equipment.
