A guide to web design ideas

This article will display different attitudes and methods of finding good web design ideas and even help a person thinking of them by himself or herself!

First ideas

The first thing you want to measure for designing a website is your own skill at coding, whether it be HTML or PHP as this is essential if you want to design the website yourself. Also, if you do not have any experience in designing website ideas, then read on as this article will be discussing what to do if you have not got relevant experience. The second decision is what the website topic will be: Will it be related to computing, maths or helping people medically as this will tailor your web inspiration.
For example, if it is medically related, then the design should be soothing rather than sharp and brutal. Now, if you do know how to code, then you need to think about the topic and what colours would you associate with it. Once the colours are down as a basis, then you should mix them around in different patterns and you might find something you like. If you don't, then try searching on search images for other ideas, or other websites related to yours. This should be done only for ideas and not for copying as you do not want the law on your back, especially if you are starting up.

If you do not know how to code

If coding is not your forte and you do not even know how to begin, then there are a few things to get you started. Firstly, for wall design, you might be interested in things like Wordpress and Blogger. Blogger allows you to have your own website within their boundaries. Therefore, it is not your own but still has it's own URL. You have very little freedom with this though it is a good starting point for anyone trying to break into the internet. However, if you are more serious, then WordPress will be for you. This is more laborious at first as you have to host the files which give you a dashboard accessible from the internet. Once this is done, you can choose a wall idea as this has website examples. It does not have design tutorials but design trends. They can show you thousands of different designs that you can just pick and install simply. This avoids coding and allows a good program to input your information. A final word To conclude, if you know HTML and PHP, it is worth trying to code a design yourself. However, if this is not your skill, pre-ade designs would be the best bet.

What do computer specs do? Do I need to look out for when I buy games?

Computer games are probably the most intensive programs used in peoples' homes, but with the proliferation of consoles, it's not always obvious that the computer spec is important. People can assume any computer will place games as this is after all what consoles do, but this is not the case.
