Shades Sheer cover comes in three shades: Tan, medium and dark. Each of these shades is a combination of two colours. You can use one of these colours, or blend them together. According to Sheer cover 'Tips and tricks', there is a simple way to test these colours. First, dip your finger into one shade and apply in a stripe on your face, then do the same with the second shade in a separate strip. Using natural light, check which colour is closest to your skin tone. Create a custom blend The combination of two colours allows you to create a custom blend perfect for your skin tone. To create a custom blend, pour a small amount of one shade into the lid of the make-up, then pour in a little of the second shade. Mix the two together using the end of a brush. Test it on your jawline. Keep on blending the two shades together until you find a perfect shade for your skin tone.
