Harry Potter

The adventures of young wizard Harry Potter and his friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger who are students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry are known by children, teenagers and adults all over the world and the books have sold more than 400 million copies and translated in 67 languages. Harry Potter is a combination of fantasy, thriller, mystery and romance and the novels (first one published in 1997) have been turned into movies and went on to become box-office successes.

Twilight

Overview This vampire book series by American author Stephanie Meyer follows the life of Isabella “Bella” Swan who falls in love with a 104-year-old vampire. It was first published in 2005 and has since become a great commercial success worldwide with over 116 million copies sold. Twilight has won winning multiple awards and was adapted into a film, released in 2008.
Twilight and its sequels – New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn – are definitely included into the best vampire books and great young adult novels.

Overview A series of dark fantasy books written by Joseph Delaney, known also as “Spooks”, the Wardstone Chronicle follows the adventures of Thomas J. Ward, a “Spook”, who learns how to deal with dark.
Books in the series include The Spook’s Apprentice; The Spook’s Curse; The Spook’s Secret; The Spook’s Battle; The Spook’s Sacrifice; The Spook’s Nightmare and The Spook’s Destiny.
These are great books for those teens who are not afraid of the dark.

The first book in the series, Wolf Brother, was first published in 2004 to great critical acclaim and became a bestseller in the United States. It was followed by Spirit Walker, Soul Eater, Outcast, Soul Breaker and Ghost Hunter.
