In the media In August 2011, ConAgra Foods placed a bid to buy Ralcorp Holdings, another food company. Unfortunately for ConAgra, all of the bids have been turned down by Ralcorp. With an attempt to stay afloat, Ralcorp has now decided to spin off one of its food units. Whether or not ConAgra will eventually take over Ralcorp is yet to be seen.
